The world - Where I've been and where I'm going.
In this section, you'll be able to see three subsets of location information.
I didn't decide out of the blue to leave everything behind and venture in the world for the first time with this trip. I already been travelling a bit, having set foot in about a dozen countries in 3 continents. One of my goals is to visit all 7 continents... but I'm ready to settle for 6, leaving Antartica aside due to the costs involved.
These short travels (3 weeks at a time for the longests) sure fed my travel bug and gave me a tiny glimpse of all the world has to offer to my curiosity.
Almost everywhere I look on a world map I see things I want to see. Since I don't have 100 years of travels ahead of me, I couldn't settle to limit myself to explore the world by small doses, a few weeks per year. Many have a bucket list... in my case, it would be more like a bucket encyclopedia. :-)
Every tour around the world has to begin somewhere. In my case, it begins officially in St. John's, Newfoundland, the eastern-most city in Canada and North America in fact. Why there? The best reason of all: I never been there. There are also other reasons, documented in my blog through my activities there.
Of course, visiting the whole world takes a lot of time. So, in any point in time, there are sites and cities I've already visited... and there are some in the future, either in the next weeks... or in the next few years.
